Our Story...
Named for their daughters, Elizabeth Grace Occasions is owned by two sisters. Originally from the Midwest, Amie Clark Waldeck and Gayle Clark Dorsel have both lived in the Charleston area since 2001.
Amie and Gayle opened Elizabeth Grace Occasions in 2009 as a service to those who need assistance in planning their special day. From the spectacular to the simple, Amie and Gayle have earned a reputation as the smart choice for anyone wanting to create a magical event.
Amie graduated from Purdue University in 1998 and has worked in advertising, volunteer management, fund raising and event planning. She received her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Charleston in 2004. In addition to weddings she has supervised black tie galas, golf tournaments, and community events for numerous organizations in the Charleston area.
Gayle graduated from Purdue University in 2001 and has a strong background in advertising and professional development. She received her Masters in Education Administration from The Citadel in 2005. With her creative eye and flair for the unique, Gayle is constantly called upon for wedding assistance.
